So I finally took the plunge and started working out over the last month. I paid all this money for the best gym membership so I would make myself go. I currently go 4 to 5 times a week. I take classes most of the time because they give me the variety that I enjoy. I walk to the gym which is about a mile so I look at it as a good warm up and cool down. I knew I was going to be tired when I started but it seems with every week I am more and more exhausted.
Now, I have also been going through a depression over the last six months so I was hoping that this would help with my motivation. It’s definitely helped mentally, I feel more positive after the gym. But overall I am exhausted. I’m laying here in bed trying to find the motivation to start working and I don’t think I’ll find it.
Is it not enough calories? Because I eat between 1200 and 1500 most days. I mostly eat eggs because I’m single and it’s easy. I have been craving carbs a lot so I do eat whole wheat bread.
I like going to the gym. But I need to do other things as well and I lack the motivation because I’m so tired. Maybe this is a combination of the depression and the workouts?
Just hoping for some guidance because if this doesn’t get better I’m going out to go the doctors.
